Kia ora koutou, ko Angela Halliday taku ingoa. Ko Murihiku (Southland) te whenua tupu. Nō Horowhenua te kāinga. I have experience in strategy, science, planning, advocacy and stakeholder engagement. This along with my experience working in and with the Primary Sector, Local Government, Central Government and NGO's, helps me to navigate the complex dynamics of science communication and the science research system in Aotearoa.

About me

I am the General Manager for the T. R. Ellett Agricultural Research Trust a philanthropic organisation that funds research, capability building and innovation for the agriculture in Aotearoa www.ellett.org.nz
I recently completed my Masters research which looked at the interface between research and climate change adaptation policy - namely the barriers and enablers to the uptake of research. You can read a journal article on this work here.
I am a busy Mum of two and am based near Ōhau just south of Levin. My strength lies in my ability to connect disparate ideas and people and build bridges and understanding to achieve a common goal.
